‘Walk the Walk’ in aid of breast cancer research

Steve and his family ‘Walk the Walk’ in aid of breast cancer research in London’s most iconic challenge!

Steve O’Brien, our High Voltage Project Manager in our Swansea office has recently taken on a personal challenge with his family for a great cause. On Saturday 13th May, Steve and his family completed the London Moon Walk event in aid of Walk the Walk, a charity raising money and awareness for breast cancer.

The challenge involved power walking a marathon distance (just over 26 miles), starting at midnight which begins and finishes in Clapham Common. Part of the fun and spirit of the MoonWalk, and in order to further promote breast cancer awareness, is that the walkers take part with decorated bras, showing their support of the charity.

This iconic and fantastic event saves lives, raises awareness and gets everyone fit! It ultimately helps cancer patients today and for the future and supports the research that is funded by the grant making charity that raises money for vital breast cancer causes. Steve and his family have helped to make a difference where it counts!

C&P Engineering Services would like to congratulate Steve and his family for completing such a challenging event and for making a difference. Well done to Steve and his family!
