Welsh and Spanish contractors sign MOU agreement to develop collaborative working in the Nuclear industry
C&P Engineering Services were delighted to be part of the signing of the MOU collaboration agreement between the WNF (Wales Nuclear Forum) and CINC (Cluster De La Industria Nuclear De Cantabria) in Spain, supported by Welsh Government.
From the 7th to 9th May Welsh contractors from the WNF and official representatives from Welsh Government visited Santander in Spain to meet with the CINC cluster of Spanish companies. The visit proved to be a great success and as a result synergies have been identified and new relationships created. Contractors within WNF and CINC have agreed to work together through sharing their industry knowledge, technical capability and experience and will be looking to collaborate on projects in order to provide manufacturing and engineering solutions to the UK, Spanish and global Nuclear markets. Among the group were specialist companies from manufacturing, design, R&D and engineering.
C&P Engineering Services’ Sales & Marketing Manager, Tristan Jones presented at the meeting. Tristan commented: “It was a great opportunity to tell C&P’s story behind its involvement and transition into the Nuclear industry. The meeting has proved to be a great starting point in beginning a collaborative partnership with the CINC cluster of companies and we now look forward to developing opportunities for future developing projects.”
