C&P Engineering ECITB Awards 2023


C&P Engineering Services Ltd recently attended the ECITB awards which were held at the Cutty Sark in London.

The evening was hosted by Kate Bellingham, an Engineer, Broadcaster, Teacher, and Champion for STEM Opportunities. The event brought together industry leaders, influencers, policymakers, and the rising engineering stars of tomorrow.

C&P were nominated for ECITB – ‘Leading Industry Safety Award’ (England & Wales) which was attended by: C&P’s Mark Howell – QHSE Manager, Dewi Evans – Senior Hazardous Area Project Manager, Richard Jenkins – Commercial Manager, Steve Tossell – Project Engineer, and James Bunyan – E&I Project Engineer.

C&P sponsored the ‘Apprentice of the Year Award’ which was won by Luke Turner from Cavendish Nuclear Ltd. James Bunyan presented the award to Luke who had made a significant contribution to his company and demonstrated inspirational qualities with a commitment to his own personal development and progression within his organisation.

James spoke on C&P’s behalf about coming through the apprenticeship scheme himself and knowing how important gaining knowledge from a more ‘hands on approach’ would be beneficial to the individual with their future endeavours.
