In 2001 C&P Engineering Services Ltd received the prestigious SME Safety Shield award, from the South and West Wales Safety Group. Fast forward to 2025 and we are delighted to share that for the 12th time, we have once again been recognised and awarded with the respected SME Safety Shield, underlining the company’s commitment to health and safety, compliance, operations and training across the business.
On the 10th September 2025 the Swansea.com stadium hosted the 2025 South and West Wales Safety Group Awards Ceremony, with attendees from industry professionals and dignitaries, including the Lord Mayor of Swansea, who presented the award.
Under the guidance of our QHSE Manager Mark Howell, the company wishes to extend its congratulations to all C&P Engineering Services’ staff. Mark, who is instrumental in our approach to health and safety and played a key role in our application was invited to address the ceremony.

This talk allowed Mark to outline the real steps the company takes to reinforce our safety culture, and which is adopted at every level of the business.
“This award demonstrates a shared commitment from the whole C&P team,” said Mark. “Health and Safety is not just about writing policies, it’s how we adopt and apply them every day, to keep everyone safe, especially in high risk and hazardous areas.”
