We are delighted to announce C&P Engineering Services, part of C&P Group Holdings, are continuing our journey toward a more sustainable future with a major investment in the electrification of 12 of our management fleet vehicles, with further investment demonstrated by the installation of 8 dedicated EV charging points across our office locations.

This supports our commitment to reducing our carbon emissions and adopting cleaner, smarter ways of working; with the upgrade forming a key part of our long-term Corporate Responsibility Programme (CRP).

The transition from petrol and diesel vehicles to fully electric alternatives, ensures we are taking decisive action to cut emissions and operate more sustainably, whilst maintaining the operational efficiency our customers rely on. The addition of 8 on site electric vehicle charging points across our premises ensures our teams can operate seamlessly while aligning our operations with the UK’s long-term decarbonisation ambitions.

Sustainability has always been embedded in our culture, but real progress requires action, not just intention. Moving to electric vehicles is one of the key initiatives driving progress within our Corporate Responsibility Programme and highlighted by our Operations Director, James Bunyan, who commented “Our Corporate Responsibility Programme is about delivering real, lasting impact. We consider that in transitioning our investment in electric vehicles, alongside a dedicated charging infrastructure, ensures we are driving meaningful emission reductions across our operations. All businesses have environmental responsibilities, and our investment reflects that commitment.”

C&P Group Holdings considers this proactive approach strengthens our environmental, social and governance (ESG) credentials and highlights our commitment to building a more sustainable engineering sector. As our CRP continues to evolve, we will continue implementing practical actions that deliver measurable environmental improvements.
