Admin Assistant based in Port Talbot, South Wales, salary circa £19K – £20K, 25 days holiday (plus 8 statutory).

We have built up a reputation in a wide range of industries including the Chemical, Petrochemical, Steel, Water, Power Generation, Oil & Gas and Pharmaceutical sectors. The vast majority of our Electrical and Instrumentation Services are carried out on COMAH sites and typically within hazardous areas that may contain or have activities that produce explosive or potentially explosive atmospheres.
Following increased growth and expansion into Hazardous Area Training (CompEx) the company has now been split into two companies as follows C&P Engineering Services Ltd and C&P Training Services Ltd all held within C&P Group Holdings Ltd.
The role will include daily data capture via SAP and Excel, liaising with our Inspection team and reporting information to company Management and our Client. Some common duties include checking report sheets, planning upcoming work and preparing reports for KPI Meetings. During these meetings you are required to record and produce minutes for distribution.
We need a strong communicator who is confident and able to liaise with staff at all levels and our Client’s representatives and provide support to our inspection and Management teams.
Knowledge of Outlook, Power Point, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is essential. Knowledge of SAP is desirable but not essential as training would be provided. Additionally, it is essential to be self-motivated; however, collaboration is necessary and the admin clerk must be able to work as part of a team.
Desired Skills & Experience
• Prior 1 to 2 years’ experience in office/administration work
• Must be able to work productively on own & in a fast-paced environment.
• Consistent accuracy with a high volume of data processing
• The ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work.
• Experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Have excellent presentation and communication skills.
• The ability to meet strict deadlines
