Hazards 29 – Europe’s Largest Process Safety Conference

C&P will be exhibiting at Hazards 29, Europe’s largest process safety conference. The conference and exhibition will run between 22nd to 24th May 2019 at The International Convention Centre (ICC) in Birmingham, UK.

Hazards 29 will share good practice, latest developments and lessons learned in process safety, promoting a continuous focus on safer operations, and helping to make good practice common practice. (more…)

High Voltage Project Managers Appointed…

C&P’s High Voltage Division has announced the appointment of  Project Managers, Huw Crocombe and Craig Hooper, during a time of unprecedented growth and success for the company.

Huw Crocombe joins C&P’s high voltage division with almost 40 years’ experience working in the utilities industry. Huw has a solid electrical power engineering experience with technical and management skills relating to the management of operations, design and management of project construction of electrical infrastructure. Huw has held key posts at South Wales Electricity, Hyder Utilities, United Utilities as well as one of the leading Independent Distribution Network Operators in the UK. (more…)

HazardEx 2019 Conference, Exhibition & Awards ceremony…C&P Engineering Services had a successful exhibition

The 2019 Hazardex International Conference and Exhibition took place at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Runcorn, Cheshire, UK, on February 27th & 28th.

The main focus of the two day event was the conference, with 2019 hosting a Personal Protection Technology stream alongside the main Hazardous Area Operations and Process Safety conference. The attached exhibition was also an important element, with leading hazardous area sector companies displaying their products and services to the assembled professional audience.

C&P Engineering Services showcased their EC&I engineering solutions and had a successful exhibition and conference. C&P provide performance-driven, complex, high profile, critical EC&I solutions to national and global industry within the oil & gas downstream and midstream, COMAH upper and lower level UK sites, chemical, nuclear, pharmaceutical, steel, process manufacturing, renewable energy and industrial markets.

The 2019 event again provided exceptional opportunities for networking, with attendees from government agencies, regulators and certification bodies meeting up with senior engineers and safety managers from the high hazard and process industries to share their experiences. (more…)

C&P Achieves ISO 45001  – Committed to Workplace Occupational Health & Safety

Leading South Wales Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering Solutions provider, C&P Engineering Services, has achieved the international standard ISO 45001:2018 for their occupational health and safety management system, certified by the global certification body, nqa.

C&P Engineering Services experienced record growth last year since the company began in 1973 and its global operations are managed from their Gorseinon office in Swansea. High Voltage Power System Upgrade

High Voltage Power System Upgrade for MOD Site

C&P Engineering Services is in the process of completing major construction on the High Voltage power system upgrade project for Landmarc Support Services and the DIO (Defence Infrastructure Organisation) at Kirkcudbright Training Centre, Scotland.

Over the course of two weeks, C&P’s HV project team have begun dismantling the main intake substation and are now in the process of rebuilding it at a new location. All cables have been diverted, tested and will be commissioned and energised. Major plant was also delivered from Schneider electric, which included 14 off 11kV transformers of various types and sizes and these have now been positioned at their new locations. (more…)
